Preserve Franklin’s work and goals include:

  • Influencing public opinion against the abuse of eminent domain by Mountain Valley Pipeline
  • Monthly community meetings to inform and engage landowners and residents
  • Monthly presentations about environmental, safety, and economic issues to the Franklin County Board of Supervisors
  • Contacts with state and federal government officials about the abuse of eminent domain
  • Working with archaeologists, historians, and other professionals to identify sites along the proposed route that must be protected
  • Working with affected property owners
  • Fundraising to support these tasks and goals
