Where to Send Letters and Messages

FERC (Federal Energy Regulatory Commission)
This is the agency that is ultimately responsible for granting or denying pipelines. It is preferable to contact FERC online. The address and process is here:  http://www.ferc.gov/docs-filing/eregistration.asp – this will allow you to contact FERC and use their eSubscription, EFiling, and eComment services.

Any Communications to FERC must include this at the top of the letter:
“Mountain Valley Pipeline Project” and the docket number “CP16-10-000”

It is more effective to write short letters, one covering each topic you wish to express your concerns about, rather than one long letter.  You should send copies of these letters to your legislators.

If you write a letter to FERC they will upload it to their file.
